For the first time since its unveiling in 2020, the Polestar Precept is coming to the UK for the much-anticipated 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The new Precept electric car is Polestar's figurehead at this event, which will also feature the Polestar 1 electric performance hybrid and the Polestar 2 electric performance hatchback.

Precept was unveiled in March 2020 to showcase the future of Polestars design, technology and sustainability ambitions. Later in the year, Polestar confirmed that Precept would go into production in the future. The project is now in full swing and development is in full motion to bring the striking electric performance vehicle to market.

"We're thrilled to be showing the Precept to the UK audience at this iconic festival," said Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO. "Not only is it great to introduce the car to a new audience, but our UK-based research and development team is great too in Coventry to play a leading role in the development of the project. "
In addition to the Polestar Precept, the Polestar 1 limited 'Sun' edition and the award-winning Polestar 2 will also be on display at the Signature Polestar stand. For the first time in the history of the festival, an exclusive test driving area will be set up next to the event area in Molecomb, in which interested visitors can test drive the Polestar 2 on a closed route.

Goodwood is a special event for us,” continues Thomas Ingenlath. “The dynamic preview of the Polestar 1 was a prototype ride on the hill in 2018. This year we're celebrating the end of production of our Halo car with the new golden special edition. And don't worry, we also have a surprise in store for the Polestar 2. "
The Polestar stand is located on the main field, directly behind the First Glance Paddock. @via Polestar.
