Segway is no longer the company it used to be. The brand, which is now owned by Chinese robotics startup Ninebot, has unveiled the Apex H2 motorcycle concept. Powered by a hybrid-electric hydrogen propulsion system, the motorcycle will be able to reach a top speed of 150 km / h, which would immediately make it the fastest Segway of all time.

Apex H2 is a follow-up to the 2019 super electric hybrid motorcycle concept. Like the prototype, it has a genuine hybrid motorcycle with a cyberpunk-inspired design that would not have moved into a Tron sequel. The glossy black and white model has bold shapes, sharp angles and an extraordinary front fork. However, the most striking aspect of the design are the neon-lit accents that draw your attention to the wheels and the sophisticated seat.

The engine configuration is also maintained. Apex H2 will have a hybrid propulsion system that will convert hydrogen into electricity through a special fuel cell. Ninebot says the hydrogen-electric plant will be able to generate more than 80 horsepower, allowing the motorcycle to reach 100 km / h in less than four seconds.

Ninebot says the hybrid motorcycle will go into production in 2023, with deliveries expected to begin in the same year.
