Hundreds of athletes from around the world compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in the most important sporting event of the year, and everyone has a chance to win. The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 are held differently, with security measures that led to the elimination of the public from the events and with fewer athletes than before.
In the last edition, which took place in Brazil, the United States swept with 46 gold medals won thanks to athletes such as Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps and the very famous and successful gymnastics team, but now there is a new opportunity to take all the medals and everyone wants a chance to get on the podium.
The list of medals will change over the course of the two weeks of games.
