IONIQ 5 is a spacious crossover in the popular family segment and is the first model on Hyundai's brand new dedicated electric car model portfolio IONIQ. The brand new model sets a new standard and redefines the electric car market with its innovative and groundbreaking features.
IONIQ 5 is built on Hyundai's brand new dedicated electric car platform E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform), and pushes the boundaries of proportions with its extremely long wheelbase of as much as 3,000 millimetres. The car is located midway between TUCSON and SANTA FE in Hyundai's model portfolio and is a very spacious family car with its 4,635 mm in length and 1,890 mm in width. The car also has a solid crossover ground clearance of 160 mm.
On a 350 kW lightning charger, IONIQ 5 can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes. It takes less than 5 minutes to charge 100 kilometres extra range (WLTP).
Hyundai IONIQ 5 also has unique V2L technology (Vehicle to Load), which allows you to charge or use most 220V devices. For example, you can charge an electric scooter or bicycle in the trunk while driving, or provide power to electrical appliances if you are camping.
